Surveys of the Hawaiian Islands where conducted in the years 1999 and 2000.  The islands of Kauai,  Maui, and parts of Molokai and Oahu were surveyed in 1999.  The survey conducted in 2000 included the islands of Hawaii, Maui, Molokai, Lanai, Oahu, and Kauai.  The surveys were compiled for US Naval Oceanographic Office,  US Geological Service, and US Army Corps of Engineers Honolulu District.
